Even in ancient times, our people created original samples of clothing, shoes, and accessories, which were embodied in further versions of the traditional costume. At different times, in different areas, Ukrainian clothing developed in its own way, enriched with original features inherent in the population of one or another area, assimilated the experience and aesthetics of various cultures. The history of clothing is inseparable from the history of a people, from its psychological, aesthetic, spiritual aspirations, inexhaustible creative potential. Only through the history of clothing can one get a holistic view of the history of a nation, a state, and the world. The author carried out a grandiose research work, which became the fundamental basis for visualizing the evolution the logic of development and reconstruction of historical clothing.\"
