This book was the first in a series to introduce us to a new fantasy world, the island of Fennbrin, and introduced us to the three heirs to the throne of this island - Mirabell, Katharina and Arsinoe. I really like this fantasy world, the author perfectly depicts the island and its traditions, as well as the differences of the people living in different parts of the island. The book was full of twists and surprises. As a reader, I could not decide for a long time who to trust and who to support. Anyway, great fantasy book for me and I'm looking forward to the next part. And I love when there are maps in the books! I recommend!
