This was an odd one for me. I've seen an enormous number of opinions about Sanderson's books on the fantasy forums I hang out on, the great majority favourable. I was interested to see what it was that had sold so very many books and got such an incredibly high average score The opening was strong and engaging. Then I started to falter. For most of the book I didn't think that I would be giving it 5* but in the end I did

The Final Empire je závěr naprosto fantastické série, na kterou budu ještě dlouho vzpomínat, a jsem moc ráda, že ji mám doma. Tentokrát se děj točí hlavně kolem závěrečného boje, který zabírá většinu knihy. Nezklamal mě, byla tam spousta akce, krveprolití a těžké atmosféry, přesně jak to mám ráda. Je to bezesporu jedna z těch nejlepších fantasy, jakou jsem kdy četla. A zakončení se také moc povedlo.
