I really enjoyed this book a lot. It's very different from how Sanderson builds up his stories in later novels (the plot took off on page two, but I'm used to him spending some time building his characters and worlds before expecting us to run next to them). The first half was pretty difficult for me to connect to and I thought I'd be rating this lower, but the second half was a RIDE and I couldn't stop reading.
