For me, I really lose all ability to critique because I'm so emotionally attached to the ship. It's probably one of the best romances I have ever read. I adore Wei Wuxian and seeing his past life and current life. The love between WangXian is quite a slow burn but well worth the wait. These two characters are the ultimate opposites attract and I loved every bit of it. Also the universe portrayed in the series is vast and rich with many details, bringing Chinese folklore and mythology to life. Even though I was saddened by the number of unfinished storylines (mainly the Jin Ling x Wei Wuxian relationship and my beloved Jian Cheng x Wei Wuxian) this is a story of epic proportions that deserves not to be forgotten. I don't cry because it's over, I smile because it hapened.
