Román v angličtině s dosti zajímavým a palčivým, aktuálním tématem. Nejedná se zrovna o oddychové čtení a je proto i dobrá znalost angličtiny. Knížku nepřečtete jedním dechem, jedná se spíše o dosti náročnou četbu. Název, ve kterém autor předpovídal tzv. Malthusovskou katastrofu, v níž by lidé ignorovali hranice přírodních zdrojů a svět by trápil hladomor a nemoc. Knížku bych si už podruhé určitě nepřečetla a i tak mi dala hodně zabrat.
