Recenze European Employment Policies: Current Challenges

The book provides an analysis of some aspects of the European employment policies, highlighting selected issues stemming from them, as well as offering some recommendations as to how best to achieve the greatest benefits for EU citizens. The authors focus on three different aspects of the issue: firstly, they outline the difficulties of the social dimension of the EU to be effective and to reach new achievements and suggest remarks for its strengthening; secondly, they explore new forms of work in the gig- and collaborative economy and possible ways to provide protection, which currently is lacking for workers; thirdly, the authors present a comparative analysis of labour market policies and provide elements for a proposal which might increase the European Union's legitimacy in the eyes of its citizens. schovat popis
