The first book of Legends I read. Would have expected more Jedi or old Ben Jedi trick. It was instead more philosophical, deep and interesting than expected. The adventure on Tatooine, the first time Tuskens are depicted and explained, the conflicts of knowledge, really exceeded my expectations. Not only is possible to understand what Obi-Wan is doing on Tatooine, but also the "normal" life of the people surrounding the sand people. The Hutt influence is very strong and the Oasis character appears as "normal" humans struggling to defend themselves from external tribes thriving to reach and gather enough resources to properly live.
