Recenze Christian Rus in the Making

The religious evolution of Rus has been an on-going discussion since it first emerged as a field of study in the nineteenth century. These volumes bring to light - for a wider readership - cutting edge research on the religious culture and politics of Rus, embracing interdisciplinary approaches to the early production of Slavonic texts during and immediately after Christianisation. One of the two volumes is dedicated to textual production and source questions. In highlighting work by scholars from, and active in, Eastern Europe, this publication is an invitation to a global academic dialogue by making new research on the culture and written sources of Rus available in English.
